Monash University Pharmacy Teaching Spaces

The Monash Pharmacy teaching spaces project was a complete strip out and refurbishment of two new collaborative learning spaces. Simbuilt worked closely with Monash University and the building end-users to identify suitable times for noisy and vibration works to be completed when the lecture theatres and laboratories were not in use. This ensured that the day-to-day operation of the university was not disrupted during the works.

Creating a space that fostered collaboration and innovation were key elements in this project.
Below the teaching spaces was a fully functioning café within which the scope involved working in live environments to relocate and replace essential services. Through discussion with café staff Simbuilt identified the lowest occupancy periods to ensure minimal disruption. The result was a bright, fresh and modern collaborative space for University students to engage in their studies.
