Carey Grammar Maintenance & Workshop Facility
Carey’s Bulleen Sports Complex houses three ovals, two soccer pitches, two basketball courts, an aquatic centre and various ancillary sporting facilities, and their maintenance team required a facility just as grand to keep these spaces in top condition.
The facility will provide Carey’s Bulleen staff with ample space and amenity for their grounds keeping, set-building and equipment maintenance for many years to come.
Completed in the midst of a significant flood in 2022, and working with SPARK and their delivery of the Bulleen Rd interchange & tunnel entrance for the North East Link, this project provided it’s share of challenges to be navigated. Carey’s maintenance staff had long been in an ageing facility, and their expanding activities demanded a modern facility including features such as Machine Wash Down Bay, Provision for Row Boat Hoists, 1000m2 Storage Facility and many more.
