Monash University Building N Stage 1 & 2
Simbuilt were again proud to partner with Monash University to complete a three level refurbishment of Monash University’s Building N, located at the Caulfield Campus, over two stages.
Stage 1 of the Building N refurbishment was completed in February 2019, with Stage 2 being completed in February 2020. A complete strip out of the existing fit-out allowed a clean canvas for the refurbishment works to occur in.
Stage 1 of this project involved the complete demolition and refurbishment of multiple levels of Building N. As a result, we were able to reshape the dated fit-out into a much smarter, brighter office space. The space also included meeting rooms and common areas that transformed the way Monash University departments used their spaces.
Stage 2 involved the complete refurbishment of one entire level, and required precise and careful coordination of trades from start to finish. Stage 2 featured new kitchens, breakout rooms, innovative meeting spaces and open work areas to further transform the building. Each area is brought to life with feature timber, eye-catching acoustic wall cladding and luscious greenery.
